Nieuw op de playlist wk 1 (3)

Göteburg. Daar komt de Zweedse singer-songwriter Albin Lee Meldau vandaan. 

Begonnen op straathoeken en in kroegen. 

Zijn doordringende stem deed ons eerder dit jaar al versteld staan toen 'Lou Lou' en plekje op de playlist kreeg.

Ook op het nummer 'Same boat' is niets menselijks hem vreemd en zo aan het begin van een nieuw jaar een mooie verbindende boodschap.

Onlangs hadden we al een prettige kennismaking met de Canadese indie popband Men I Trust. 

De 3-koppige band kwam op de playlist met het nummer 'I hope to be around'. 
De band uit Montreal, omschrijft hun muziek zelf als 'Softdance'. 

In augustus van het afgelopen jaar bracht de band al het nummer 'Tailwhip' maar onlangs verscheen ook de officiële videoclip. Reden genoeg om hem toe te voegen aan de playlist deze week.

In 2013 zijn ze officieel als band begonnen, maar 2 van de vier leden speelden al samen toen ze pas 11 jaar oud waren. 
De nu 4-koppige indie popband uit Londen, met de naam 'Flyte' bracht de eerste single in 2014 genaamd 'We Are The Rain'. 

Na nog een aantal singles en EP's is op 25 augustus 2017 hun debuutalbum 'The Loved Ones' verschenen. 
Op het album ook het nummer 'Faithless' en die voegen we toe aan de playlist  deze week.
